As part of the core values and mission of the North-Western American Eskimo Association, we are committed to responsible breeding. We are a club with both show and breeding homes among our membership.  We are committed to breeding a better and finer American Eskimo Dog, as described in the breed standard of the United Kennel Club and the National American Eskimo Dog Association.

Many dogs every year are left behind in pounds, shelters and rescues. Yes, as hard as it is to believe, even some American Eskimos. Many of these dogs are not abandoned, but are quality pets that, because of circumstances beyond their owners' control, have found themselves needing help. If your heart is set on an Eskie, before you finalize your decision, the North-Western American Eskimo Association asks you to take some time and contact a rescue operation, such as Heart Bandits.

"6/4/10 - One of our club member breeders is seriously ill and needs to place her dogs. She has both breeding stock and pet quality - mini and toy - American Eskimo dogs available. All of these dogs need socialization, as they have been kenneled together in packs and have not had a lot of handling within the past 8 months, but are healthy. Some are AKC Champions; some are UKC Champions or Grands and range in age from 2 years old and up. Papers are available on all registered dogs. She DOES NOT have puppies available. Sometimes, a puppy is not right for you, and you are looking for an adult dog. That is okay too, adult dogs need companions, as well. The good news is that occasionally, the breeders in our club may have an available adult dog, or know of one that is available.  Please contact us if you are interested in an adult American eskimo dog.
